About the event
This course is designed to introduce new shooters to safe, sound, and effective firearms practices. This course will also meet all the criteria for the NRA Basic Pistol Course and will come with an NRA certificate of completion.  There will be a written test and a range qualification to earn the NRA certification.Â
In this course, we will help you build, from the ground up, the knowledge and habits that will allow you to enjoy firearms for years to come. This safety focused course includes an in-depth review of the four universal firearm safety rules, handgun components, nomenclature, assembly, disassembly, cleaning, handling, principles of marksmanship, and gear considerations.
