About the event
This course is designed to introduce new shooters to safe, sound, and effective firearms practices.
In this course, we will help you with the knowledge and habits that will allow you to enjoy firearms for years to come. This safety focused course includes an in-depth review of the four universal firearm safety rules, handgun components, nomenclature, assembly, disassembly, cleaning, handling, principles of marksmanship, and gear considerations.

Our instructors begin with the basics so you become safe and competent with a firearm. This is the perfect course if you’ve just purchased or are thinking about purchasing your first handgun.
This course contains both “classroom” and “range” training, though both may take place outdoors.
Lunch is not provided, so please bring your own refreshments. There will be a lunch break.
